Chicken Soup Made From Rotisserie Chicken

Ingredients

large carrots
3
stalks celery
1
large onion
Bones from rotisserie chicken
use them all, the broth depends on the bones.
Meat from the rotisserie chicken
as much of the chicken as you want to invest in your soup.

Tbsp
dried sage

bay leaves
8 to 10
cups
of water
Optional: Cooked rice or noodles for serving.
Instructions
Chop or slice the carrot and celery.
Chop the onions, Want a little richer soup? Sauté the onions first.
Place everything in the slow cooker.
Pull the meat off the rotisserie chicken. Remove any skin. Place in slow cooker.
Place ALL of the bones in the slow cooker.
Add the sage, bay leaves and salt.
Add water.
Turn on your slow cooker and cook for 8 hours on low setting or 4 1/2 hours on high setting.
When cool, remove the bones from your soup.
Serve the soup as it is or add cooked rice or cooked noodles.
