Gourmet Turkey Burger

Ingredients:

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp coriander
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tspcloves
1/8 tsp cloves
1/8 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of cardomon
1 lb. mushrooms
1 lb. ground turkey
2 garlic cloves minced
1 egg

Oil for the mushrooms and the pan

Steps:

Measure and mix all of the spices, set aside.


Slice the mushrooms then cut each slice in half.

Roast the mushrooms. If you have an air fryer, place in the air fryer, sprinkle with oil, and cook for 15 minutes at 375 degrees, flipping halfway through. (Airfryers vary, check after 10 minutest to see if your mushrooms look soft. If they don’t look soft after 15 minutes, cook more.)

If you don’t have an air fryer, cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the mushrooms on the baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

Grate the onion and mince the garlic.

Mix everything.
Form 6 to 8 patties and place on a plate.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Place the patties in the frying pan and cook, flipping halfway through. Check the temperature of each patty. Remove from the pan when the temperature is 165.
