Air-Fryer Buffalo Bites from Cauliflower

Love hot-wings but want to avoid the unhealthy fat? Replace the chicken wings with cauliflower. Yes, I know cauliflower is tasteless, but that’s the good thing about these hot-“wings”. The flavor is from the seasonings and sauce, the cauliflower taste is indistinguishable. What a great treat to keep in the refrigerator. Ingredients
1 large head cauliflower, chopped into small-to-medium sized florets
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ cup buffalo-style wing sauce
Rinse cauliflower. Cut the cauliflower into small-to-medium florets. Pat dry.
Mix flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Stir to combine. Add cauliflower florets and toss to coat.
Add cauliflower florets and toss to coat.
Spread coated cauliflower onto a baking rack in a single layer with space in between each floret.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, tossing once at the the halfway mark.
Remove pan from oven,
and pour cauliflower into
a bowl. Pour wing sauce over
the cauliflower and toss
to coat.
Replace in your pan and bake again.
Bake for 10 minutes, tossing once at the halfway mark.

- 1 Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 1 large head cauliflower chopped into small-to-medium sized florets
- ½ cup all-purpose flour gluten free 1:1 flour will work too
- ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup buffalo-style wing sauce
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer to 375°F.
- Cut cauliflower into small-to-medium florets and rinse if you haven’t already. Pat to dry.
- Add flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper into a large bowl. Stir to combine. Add cauliflower florets and toss to coat.
- Spread coated cauliflower onto a baking rack in a single layer with space in between each floret.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, tossing once at the the halfway mark.
- Remove pan from oven, add cauliflower florets back into same large mixing bowl and pour wing sauce over the cauliflower and toss to coat.
- Bake for 10 minutes, tossing once at the halfway mark.
