Expanded Instructions

Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb, ground turkey
3/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup sour cream (substitute plain yogurt for a lower calorie, healthier
option.}
Squirt of oil
Cooked pasta for serving. (I like the look of bow-tie pasta but any past you have will work).

Sauté your onions over medium low heat until soft and translucent (3 to 5 minutes).

Add the minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the ground turkey, sand sauté until cooked.

Stir in the Worcestershire Sauce and ketchup.

Both Worcestershire sauce and ketchup are magic ingredients. They each combine a large number of spices and tastes to come up with an exquisite taste combination.

When you know this, that each of these products are made up of a lovely array of tastes, it makes sense that the brand you choose matters. Each brand of each of these products has a secret recipe. I choose Heinz Ketchup (whether they actually use 57 ingredients or not) and Lea and Perkins Worcestershire sauce. If you have grown up with different brands, you might prefer those those for your stroganoff.

Once your cooked turkey, onion, garlic combination has become one with the Worcestershire Sauce and Ketchup, add the sour cream or no fat plain yogurt. Stir until everything is warm.

Spoon the mixture onto your cooked pasta and you’re ready to serve and accept the compliments.
